Opening Friday May 11th: Photographer Haley Pies
On Friday May 11th at 6pm Karibou welcomes its newest featured artist, photographer Haley Pies. After picking up her father’s 35mm camera in high school, Haley Pies has not been able to put a camera down. This talented Seattle area native has always had a knack for art and like her mother always says, “Haley was born with a crayon in her hand”. With her father’s 35mm in tow, Haley took multiple photography classes in high school and as a graduation present was given her first DSLR. Ever since then her passion for photography has grown immensely. Haley, who always has her camera on hand, never misses a moment to catch the perfect shot. She loves the outdoors and capturing its true beauty is her ultimate goal. Aside from nature photography, Haley loves to capture the expressiveness and personality of animals in her work.
